Tanmiah Food Company’s wholly owned subsidiary Gulf Brand Fast Food, has signed a Master Franchise and Development Agreement (MFDA) with POPEYES®, one of the world’s leading chicken quick-service restaurants. The deal will see the POPEYES® brand expand its footprint in Saudi Arabia, with new restaurants set to open in the coming years. The agreement with POPEYES® will grow the brand’s presence, increasing access to tasty products for customers across the Kingdom. Tanmiah plans to bring its experience as a provider of high-quality products to food franchises, to deliver a best-in-class customer and brand experience.

The master franchise agreement with POPEYES® is part of Tanmiah’s trajectory to diversify its business further across the value chain. The establishment of Gulf Brand Fast Food and the deal with POPEYES® form part of the strategic growth plans, which will focus on expanding capacity in care segments and building a leading food brand franchise operator. Gulf Brand entered into an exclusive Master Franchise and Development Agreement (MFDA) for the territory. Gulf Brand plans to open many outlets over the next few years, and will operate its restaurant chain in prestigious malls, drive-thrus, and online driven by commitment to offer authentic customer service and brand experience.

Tanmiah Food Company will supply the fast-food franchise with locally produced fresh chicken from their farms and support job creation for Saudi nationals in the retail sector.
