Walking the talk, Tanmiah joined the Food For Future Summit 2022 - the first global gathering of food security innovations and ideas - as a silver sponsor on the 23rd and the 24th of February, 2022.
The Summit welcomed global public figures, multinational heads, acclaimed scientists, agtech and foodtech innovators, and renowned academia who shared groundbreaking insights and cutting-edge technologies needed to accelerate the achievement of food security goals.
Tanmiah’s Silver Sponsorship of this global event has unlocked a golden opportunity for the company’s leadership to further communicate about its sustainability mission, by being part of the Summit’s panel and participating in the concurrent Food For Future exhibition.
Notably, Tanmiah’s spokesperson underlined the company’s One-Million-Dollar Omnipreneurship Grand Challenge, a global crowdsourcing initiative that aims to identify sustainable solutions to manage and treat the increasing amounts of poultry waste generated by farms. With 1 million USD at stake, a professional committee of consultants and experts processed 93 applications where 5 projects shortlisted and 1 winner will be announced for to be the winner of the 2020 Grand Challenge. The projects are providing an efficient solution to manage poultry waste and convert them to value products.
Other than the Omnipreneurship Challenge, Tanmiah spoke about its One-Million-Tree by 2025 initiative, its water and slaughterhouse waste recycling and conversion projects, and the adoption of a circular economy model which is meant to shift the company’s operations into a sustainable value chain.
