Tanmiah Food Company is proud to introduce Saudi Arabia’s first fully refrigerated, 100% electric zero-emission trucks for fresh chicken products distribution—marking a major advancement in our sustainability journey. These trucks, powered by Quantron technology and supported by new infrastructure, reflect our commitment to reducing environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency.
With a range of up to 240 km and silent operation to enable day and night-time transportation and deliveries, the initiative is projected to avoid up to 95 metric tons of CO₂ emissions per truck annually—equivalent to the yearly transport emissions of 25 residents in the Kingdom.
Tanmiah marked the launch of its new electric trucks with an inauguration event at its headquarters. The event was attended by Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Shaikhi, Assistant Deputy Minister for Livestock and Fisheries at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), along with a delegation from the Ministry. Tanmiah’s Group CEO Mr. Zulfiqar Hamadani led the company’s executive team, joined by senior representatives from initiative partners NTSC and Massar Solutions.
This step reinforces Tanmiah’s drive toward carbon-neutral operations, optimized distribution, and sustainable food systems—all aligned with Vision 2030. It also highlights the importance of cross-sector collaboration with leading mobility partners.
