Riyadh, 7 June 2026 – Tanmiah Food Company (TADAWUL: 2281, “Tanmiah”), one of the Kingdom’s leading vertically integrated poultry and food producers, welcomed Dr. Abdulaziz bin Malik Al-Malik, Deputy Minister for Research and Innovation at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), on a visit to explore the company’s innovation programs, advanced technology initiatives, and research capabilities. The visit reflects the shared ambition of the public and private sectors to advance innovation and sustainability across the Kingdom’s agricultural and food value chain.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister was briefed on Tanmiah’s innovation programs and strategic initiatives, gaining first-hand insight into how the company is embedding research and technology at the core of its operations. The agenda highlighted Tanmiah’s long-standing commitment to pioneering sustainable, high-quality protein solutions, while building national capabilities that support the wider agriculture and food sectors.
A key part of the program included a visit to Tanmiah’s central Command and Control room showcasing industry 4.0 technologies and AI driven digital solutions adopted by Tanmiah to enhance operational efficiency and enable future growth. The Deputy Minister was also briefed about Tanmiah’s Culinary Research & Innovation Center, which will serve as a key platform for advancing Tanmiah’s innovation agenda, addressing evolving consumer needs, and developing solutions that contribute to the future of food production.
The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss potential collaboration opportunities to further activate and leverage the Research & Innovation Center in support of Saudi Arabia’s agricultural and food sectors. Both parties explored how joint efforts could accelerate research outcomes, strengthen food security, and contribute to the localization of advanced technologies across the sector.
The discussions reaffirmed the importance of public–private sector collaboration in driving innovation, sustainability, and sector development in line with national priorities and the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. Tanmiah expressed its readiness to work closely with MEWA and other stakeholders to harness research and technology for the benefit of the Kingdom’s food and agriculture ecosystem.
